Dopkins Office Status Update in Light of COVID-19
March 16, 2020 -Statement from Thomas Emmerling, Dopkins Managing Partner, regarding the COVID-19 global health crisis.
To our clients, employees and valued business and community partners,
On behalf of Dopkins & Company, our #1 priority is the safety of our clients, families, employees and the community in which we live and work. In light of unprecedented and rapidly-changing news, we wanted to share with you what we are doing to serve our clients under the utmost of safety and security while continuing to provide the services at the level you have come to expect from us.
Dopkins remains open to serve you. Our talented professionals are dedicated to serving our clients but at the same time recognize we need to work in a healthy environment and be responsible to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
We have instituted additional cleaning protocols for our offices to help keep them healthy and safe. Every hour we are learning more about new measures and municipal guidance, cancelations and regulatory changes, and we are implementing procedures based on guidance from the World Health Organization (WHO), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and state/local governmental agencies to ensure we implement protocol as necessary.
We have implemented procedures to allow employees the ability to work remotely while still maintaining our Firm Standards for security and confidentiality of your data.
Projects requiring an on-site Dopkins presence are being evaluated and monitored and we will consult with our clients on the best way to proceed. We are also evaluating all events and meetings and making prudent decisions to reschedule, transition to virtual meetings or make other arrangements. Additional guidance for travel and meetings will be determined and provided as events warrant.
